group for Animals Asia Foundation.

Enjoying life at the Moon Bear Sanctuary in China

Animals Asia Foundation is a Hong Kong based government registered animal welfare
charity whose main aims are to bring an end to the barbaric practice of bear bile farming
where moon bears are confined in metal cages for up to 20 yrs, unable to move around
and subjected to the painful extraction of their bile through their abdomens for the use in
traditional chinese medicines.

The charity was founded by Jill Robinson MBE in 1998 and is a UK registered charity.
Please click on the link Animals Asia Foundation to find out more about their work.

We are a dedicated group of people volunteering our time to help raise awareness and
vital funds for the charity through events in our local area and by spreading the word and
developing our network of supporters.

We are also 'Champions for Change' to help alleviate the suffering of Asia's cats
and dogs. Here in the UK cats and dogs are our best friends and part of the family.
Sadly this is not the case in some parts of China and Vietnam where the grim reality
is they are tortured and killed for food.
