Braydon Forest School Talk
Sarah Chilvers invited to Braydon Forest School in Swindon to talk about Animals Asia Foundation
I was invited to do a talk to year 7 Assembly and year 9 which comprised of over 200 pupils in each year. It was a 15 min powerpoint presentation telling the story of how one woman, Jill Robinson had a dream of bringing the barbaric practice of bear bile farming to the attention of the world, ending this torture forever, rescuing the remaining bears and providing them with a home for the rest of their lives. The moral of the story is that one person really can make a difference in the world.
The feedback from the pupils and teachers alike was very encouraging and I have been asked to come back to do the talk to years 8,10 and 11 in the new year.
I am hoping that the pupils will choose Animals Asia Foundation as their International Charity of the year.
