25-02-2010
5 June 2010
Are you willing to go the extra mile to help animals in Asia?
Sign up now to secure your place in our exhilarating challenge to raise vital funds for the suffering bears, dogs and cats in Asia.
Following our successful Snowdon Challenge 2009, we’ve again teamed up with mountain leader and former Royal Marine Commando “Pen” Farthing, of the AdventureFitness Company to expertly lead your trek up the stunning Cadair Idris (Chair of Idris).
This legendary mountain lies at the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park and at 893 metres (2,930 ft) is equivalent to trekking Mount Snowdon but offers a more unique experience. Cadair Idris is is a mountain steeped in myth. Legend has it that anyone who sleeps on its slopes will wake either a poet or mad. While we can't promise you'll wake up as Shakespeare, you will have spectacular views from the summit and a real sense of acheivement - not just for yourself but in knowing you’ve made a positive difference!
