The AAF Swindon Support Group will be attending the Mela, a celebration
of South Asian arts and culture. We will have an awareness marquee and
are looking for volunteers who would like to help out for a few hours

21st Aug 2010 - A day rockclimbing on Dartmoor for Animals Asia
We are getting a ladies team together for a days rockclimbing on
Dartmoor and raising money for the bears. If you would like to join

5th Sept 2010 - Swindons 2nd Walk for Freedom sponsored walk
We are happy to announce that we will be holding another sponsored
walk due to the success of Swindons first ever walk last Sept where we
raised £3600 for the bears.This year it will be held at Lydiard Park and
a choice of 5k or 10k route. Click here for more details.
Mon 4th Oct 2010 - AAF Roadshow with Jill Robinson MBE
Jill will be attending an event in the Bombay Lounge, Peatmoor, where
there will be a delicious Indian 3 course vegetarian banquet with
welcome drink and the chance to meet and hear Jill talk about the latest
rescues and the work of AAF across Asia, followed by an auction to raise
money for the bears.
This will be a wonderful inspirational opportunity to meet and listen to
Jill and show our support for the amazing work AAF continues to do.
This event is limited to 60 people and tickets are £20 each. Please contact

10th Oct 2010 - Swindon Nationwide Half Marathon
10 10 10 the date of the Swindon Half Marathon is a chinese lucky number,
10 meaning Rebirth - that which stirs and awakens your soul. (The perfect
10 = return to unity)
We hope this will be lucky for all those chinese moon bears that need our
help as we try to get a team together to run the half and raise money for
the bears as well as bringing us luck to complete the challenge and maybe
even awaken our souls!!!!!
